RULES FOR SUBMITTING ART

:smallwave: V2 by Synfull Please read our complete SUBMISSION RULES.

Here are some quick guidelines:
Pixel: Orange Star by apparate Accepted art media: water-soluble media such as watercolor, concentrated watercolor ink, acuarela, liquid watercolor, transparent ink, India ink, Ecoline, coffee, tea, watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, gouache and acrylic washes in a translucent manner.

Pixel: Orange Star by apparate In the description box of your artwork has to be written which art media (ex.: watercolor, ink…) was used to create your painting. You don't need to name the brands. Writing "watercolor" in your tags is not enough.

Pixel: Orange Star by apparate The artwork has to be presented properly (no crooked photographs or scans, notebook wires visible, paint sets and or brushes visible, blurry and so on…)

Pixel: Orange Star by apparate Nothing digital can be added, painted or drawn on the artwork. Exceptions are: regular editing of the scan / photo (adjusting brightness / contrast / sharpness, cropping, adding watermarks).

Simple Smiley by ware4me We always write the artist the reason for declining the artwork. If possible we ask for corrections and for re-submisson of the artwork.

Are you sure there was a 24 hours gap between first and second submission? :?

I think so, but the submission was declined anyway, would it matter even if it wasn't accepted?

Hi! I think the point is that the descriptions of submitted art must clearly include all the media used  (type of paint, paper, inks etc.) to create the image. -->> our rules

Please add that info & resubmit your image. High Five

Ok.. question for all of the other watercolorists on here.. has anyone ever tried this goop>>>> www.dickblick.com/items/00346-… .
Some one gave me a bottle the other day and just for the sake of experimentation i decided to give it a go and see what would happen.. I mean.. couldn't hurt right?
SO... its exactly what the bottle says.. you paint and or spray it on y our paper before you start painting and let it dry.. it says one coat but some books i found on it say use two.. so  I put two.
IT REALLY WORKS...
CADMIUM red...  one of the most staining pigments of all.. lifts off with this stuff!
what i really like it for tho is skin tones. It REALLY lets you push the pigment around with the brush so you can get your shading just how you want it.
Anyhoo.. i was just wondering if anyone else had ever given it a go.
thanks for listening!
