I would love to create art more often, but school has to come first.
I also get distracted by other things.

I prefer to give more time creating a painting than be in rush to finish it .... with no rush comes the " perfection "
I realise that in my last couple artworks .
I've been working on a beautiful big size watercolour paint for 3 weeks now and it is going to take at least couple more .

The main thing in painting is the time creating an artwork. After you finish an artwork it's...finito, done =D

Why rush it if you enjoy it. :la: By me it sometimes gets the other way around. I paint a certain piece for so long that I can't wait to finish it, so I'm over with it, that I don't have to look at it no more  There are some pieces that frustrate me (too many never ending details)

Watercolors, every 2-3 weeks or so. But I also ~ as a multi-media artist ~ fool with photos, old and failed paintings,
and digital tools found withing PhtoSho as editing tools. I DO NOT paint with PS.....so,
IT's ALL VARIABLE!!!!

I also do some things in between like pencil, soft pastel or acrylic. But most of the time it's watercolor =D
The more details I want to make the longer it takes me to finish an artwork. That's why I upload "only" 2-3 artworks per month ^^

I draw or paint whenever I have time and I'm in a creative mood. Sketches are more easier and quicker to do so I try to sketch more often, it also helps me to not lose my touch, and when I got some free time I can pick some to actually finish.

Sketching is a good option if you don't have much time...I should follow this advice too ^^; but I'm probably too lazy even for this =D

When I had a working studio, I'd paint three or four pieces per week. Now though, I only paint when I have the time and am in a creative mood.

Sometimes I can finish a pencil drawing every day, with colored pictures in various mediums every week or so.  Sometimes I can't seem to get anything on paper for weeks at a time.

This is a good poll.  I think to be good at anything you have to do it a lot, and there are a lot of really good artists here.  Almost a third practice every day.

You make sculptures?...why would it be boring :O
You can look up under traditional art -> sculpture

Many artists do post those things...maybe there's someone who is interested in the things you do.

I like this artist very much

I said "other" as it really depends on my mood, stress levels and how busy I am with life in general.
Sometimes I draw daily, sometimes every few days, and sometimes I even take a month long break! It really varies.

I try to finish at least one each week but there are days I can't work on them or certain pieces demand more time to be worked on due to the amount of detail or size, specially with watercolor. I don't like rushing :D

It's not that I'm quick but the drawings are small ;P (usually A5 sized)
And I voted 1 per week, considering the minimum amount I can make (need to study for exams, as well!)
Doodling it's helpful to get out of artist block, or as warm up before getting to the real work C:< I really suggest to try it out :)

Ah yes, the sketchbook is cool as well! But I use that to give myself an idea for the "serious pieces" that I make sometimes :3
I can relate to that - once I started anatomy practice (for doing it daily!) but gave up after short time :P
Also once I started some little 3x3 cm thumbnails drawing that I stick on my calendar - but again stopped that as well.
Yep, someday...
